March for Life.
In last week's blog post, I shared how our great nation would have multiple BIG events to finish up January. Three of those four events have happened.
Donald J. Trump is now the President of the United States.
An estimated 470,000 people participated in the Women's March in Washington in D.C., with 672 sister marches held worldwide on all seven continents.
Churches across the nation celebrated National Sanctity of Life Day.
So that leaves us with the March for Life. With past years attendance peacefully hitting 700,000+, Washington D.C. is not getting a crowd break this weekend! Buses, caravans, planes, and trains will be bringing participants in from across the nation, including the Badger State! Many will march in front of Congress sharing why they support pregnancy resource centers, are champions for pro-life, and how adoption transformed their life.
Participants will have the opportunity to hear speakers like Kellyanne Conway (Senior Counselor to Pres. Trump), Baltimore Raven's tight end Benjamin Watson, Abby Johnson (former PPFA director), Amy Ford of Embrace Grace, and many more. They'll stand in solidarity with other's praying, marching, and voicing a case for the life of the pre-born.
And for those who can't make it to D.C., partner walks are taking place across the U.S on a variety of dates. Join Portage County's March for Life THIS Sunday at 2:00 PM beginning at the Portage County Court House. Click here to check out the event.
If you are one of those voices traveling this week, know we are praying for your safety and impact! We pray God's glory shine through and His presence overtakes D.C.
For those who are attending one of the partner marches, we are lifting you up in prayer as well!
I know we at First Choice are looking forward to seeing what impact the participants in this year's march will make on Capitol Hill, and I encourage you at home to get involved by going online and checking out the March for Life website and social media pages. Share the impact of this peaceful march, let other's know it exists, and tell your friends and family why you stand for life.
From our to yours, God bless!
